Who doesn’t recognize these typical Christmas scenes: stressing all day trying to make the perfect Christmas dinner, looking for the best presents, trying to untangle the lights for the Christmas tree, struggling to make plans with both sides of your family to make sure you see everyone during the holidays and gaining 5kg from all the food. I think we can all agree that Christmas isn’t as perfect as we like to make it look like on social media, can we? Nevertheless, Christmas is one of my favorite holidays – and not because of the presents under the Christmas tree. Maybe all these little holiday dramas are exactly what make it such a charming holiday. Let’s see how I spent mine!
Last week the Marktplaats Goudmijn Collectie Event happened, and it was so much fun! 51 bloggers were rocking the runway with their vintage looks which are currently up for sale (till the 7th of December) right here.
My outfit got quite some compliments throughout the evening, which almost makes me regret putting it up for sale haha. But in case you are looking for a great holiday outfit you should definitely check it out!
Save the date: the 29th of November I will be participating in a vintage fashion show in collaboration with Marktplaats in Amsterdam. More than 40 fashion -and lifestylebloggers will be showing their ‘creative chic’ outfit, which will be up for sale afterwards! In case you would like to check out all of our styles – and do some vintage shopping while you’re at it – make sure to come over.
Why is this fun? Because women should spend more time recycling their closet: it doesn’t only keep it more organized, with the money you earn from small sales you can buy new (and better) outfits. Go sustainable fashion!
I am super excited that I was invited to join this event, and I can take 3 of you guys! Marktplaats lets me give away 3 VIP Tickets + a Meet and Greet, so make sure to leave a comment on my blog or my Instagram to get a chance of winning! Let me know why you want to come and the 22nd of November I will announce the winners :)
Location: Vondelkerk Amsterdam, Vondelstraat 120A
Time: 29th of November 17.30
See you there!
Lots of Love,
I can’t believe how well my tour has been going! After my editorial for Point Seven Mach in London, I now scored an exclusive publication in C-Heads Magazine during my stay in Amsterdam! Go me! The pictures down below are my top 10 favorites of the shoot I did with Jaimie Peeters. Not all of them are published in the editorial so I still wanted to share them with you guys! :)
Don’t you just love summer? I always want to be outside and enjoy the days as much as I can, last week I even went for a quick spin at basketball – a perfect excuse to wear my sporty summer look! Fun fact: Did you know I used to play in my high school basketball team? To be honest I’m not the biggest fan of fitness – or any sport that you have to do alone – but I looove competitive sports, they get me so pumped up!
Is it just me or has it been almost tropical for the past few days? That requires a suitable outfit! The collection of trousers from Anbasja Blanken is not for your every day look: it’s super chic and feminine, which makes it perfect for cocktail parties or elegant dates.
Not that long ago I was in Rotterdam for Salonè della Moda, and I loved one of my outfits so much that I shot a short fashion video with Lucas Bakx for it! I know I know… not necessarily an outfit you could wear on a daily basis, but doesn’t that make it much more fun and special to wear?!
What I like about fashion is that you can get creative and make it fun with different combinations of styles, colors, materials and more! I guess my slogan came into existence for a reason:
“A Creative Mind Equals an Endless Wardrobe”
Shop the look:
Denim Jacket: Vintage
Bralette: Shop Tobi
Skirt: Matilde Cano
Sneakers: Pull & Bear
Swimsuits as fashion statement? We are all fan of stylish swimsuits, but did you ever try to make outfits with them? With some of my fav swimsuits of Hunkemöller I created 4 different looks for all occasions: get ready for the next summer fashion trends!
Simple, elegant and stylish… who doesn’t love Zara?! For today’s look I decided to go with a navy blue dress with light golden details which complement my light skin and hair. It is actually the first time I wear an A-Line dress since usually I prefer to create some shapes with my waistline, but it gives a very cute and classy effect don’t you think so? Instead of wearing heels I went for a pair of black Derby shoes with a track sole to give the overall style some edge.
To finish up the look I used golden accessories which match with the golden pattern of the dress (it’s all in the details I tell you!), and last but not least: the black Michael Kors bag brings everything together and creates some peace with its solidness. It’s a perfect accessory since it will fit with any creative styling ideas you might have in mind! Do you love this bag too? Click here to join the Giveaway and win this Beauty!
