    My next step: Hola Barcelona!

    October 20, 2015

Today is a BIG day for me because… I AM MOVING TO BARCELONA! That’s right, by the time you are reading this, I am on my way to Spain with three suitcases and two backpacks (a girl needs to prepare herself okay?!) anxious to see my lovely boyfriend and MOVE IN TOGETHER. Why is it necessary to move to Barcelona you may wonder? In just a couple of days I will go BACK TO SCHOOL. Oh hell yes, I will start my second master at the INSA Business School to learn more about Art Direction and Creative Advertising because… it’s just freakin’ cool that’s why! So BOOM there you go, triple shock!

But don’t you worry guys, it will be a part-time master so I still have lots of time to share cool stuff with you on the blog and to continue with my modelling! And besides, I will still be able to travel around. Or better said… I will make time to travel around, I just can’t help myself.

Anyways, since I will be spending lots of time in Barcelona from now on, I decided to do some research on a very important issue: where will I be able to satisfy my fashion addiction?! I mean… three suitcases and two backpacks is not THAT much… right? I made a Top 5 of shops which I already visited and LOVE in combination with shops which I am dying to discover. Check them out!

    La Roca Village

La Roca Village, s/n (Shuttlebus from Plaça Catalunya)

This huge outlet centrum suits its name, it’s like a small town right outside of Barcelona. It has many cool brands such as Armani, Aristocrazy, Calvin Klein, Furla, Guess, Karen Millen, Michael Kors, Swarovksi and more! As a kid in a candystore I ran from one store to another, controlling my urges to buy everything that I found. By the end of the day I scored some amazing new stuff for great discount prices… Shopping heaven, I tell you!

    Serra Claret

    Provença 278 (Metro Diagonal)

This list wouldn’t be complete without some vintage! Serra Claret is located in the beautiful area Eixample and is known for stocking exclusive brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Neil Barrett, Dsquared and Forte Forte. The first Serra Claret store opened in 1933 and emphasizes customer service with a personal touch. I always have a hard time finding hot items in vintage stores so perhaps they could help me? I will definitely go and find out!

    Passage BCN

Carrer de l’Abat Samsó 7 (Train Sarriá)

The concept store Passage is actually one of the few in Barcelona! It has beautiful gallery spaces, pop-up stores, a champagne bar, fashion books, events, gadgets, accessories and obviously… fashion! Passage definitely sets the standards high with selling creative top brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, which sparkle inspiration and imagination. Very promising indeed, I can’t wait to visit!

    La Maquinista

Carrer de Potosí 2 (Metro Torras i Bages)

This is a lesser known shopping mall in Barcelona because it’s a bit out of the city center, but it’s totally worth a visit! It has all the stores you usually would have to cross the complete city for (twice!) in one magnificent huge mall. On top of that, the atmosphere is very relaxing with lots of plants, music and open spaces. Do you feel like shopping without stress? This is the place to go!

    Dolores Promesas

    Rambla Catalunya 111 (Metro Diagonal)

I haven’t been here yet but this store seems to have it all: vintage decoration to admire, three floors to discover and a coffee shop to recover! Also not unimportant: the collection of Dolores Promesas fits perfect with the stylish interior. It’s feminine, elegant, playful, strong and very much affordable! Rambla Catalunya is a street parallel to the famous Passeig de Gracia, very central and easy to reach, I will be passing by Dolores Promesas as fast as I can!
