If you follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen some beautiful pictures of my trip to the UK. I couldn’t help but notice: every time I told someone I was going to the UK, their reaction was: Oh, I love London! Every time I had to explain them that I actually wasn’t going to London, but to the north of England. I was going to visit 4 cities: Hull, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. I had never been there either and I was so curious to see what I would find. Check out my photo diary to get the experience!
2017 was an intense year, as soon as I started working for Sanoma it was a rollercoaster! During the day I was constantly at the office, learning, growing, working for the company. During the evenings (and nights) I was working for myself, following my dreams. As you can imagine, I didn’t have much of a social life going on, besides the events I was attending as a blogger at least. I definitely don’t regret anything, because I learned so much! However, after getting close to a second burnout not that long ago, I think it’s important to also set some personal resolutions for myself in 2018. Keep reading!
I just wanted to say that I’m so proud to see all the amazing reactions and support that I’ve been getting! Last month I posted a picture on Instagram where I was talking about sexual abuse and it’s great to see how women are stepping up and sharing their stories! Did anyone else see the #Metoo or the #IkOok campaign on social media? Isn’t it devastating to see that so many women have experience(s) with sexual violence?
Holaaa everyone! Losing weight properly is really important. Today I wanted to share my history with food, and how I began to feel good in my body. Since I’ve become a model, people have told me to be careful what to eat, and to stay in shape in order to get jobs. Naturally, as a young girl, this is what I thought: I’m too big; my hips are too wide, my ass is too big and my legs are too muscular.
It’s been a while since I wrote something.. That’s because I’m undergoing some radical changes in my life. One of those changes is something which I would never ever expect myself doing. And above all, I really hate going with the hype. Hypes are most of the time blown up, as if it’s some kind of faith that you totally have to follow because bla bla bla. But this is different. So, here it is, the most radical change in my life so far:
It’s always exciting to move to a new city: there is so much still to explore! Till now I haven’t had that much time to explore yet because I’m working a lot and I’m still in my ‘moving process’. But from what I’ve seen till now: Amsterdam is a pretty cool place to live! Keep reading to hear about more my first month:)
It doesn’t matter which beauty perspective you prefer about body types: there’s one thing that is really important. Feeling awesome in your body. We all can’t deny that we gain a little weight during the winter. It’s just because of all those pastries from grandma during the holidays and drinking warm chocolate milk with cream because it’s cold that we gain maybe just a little bit (which is totally worth it btw). Now that summer’s getting closer we all want one thing: get our summer bodies back!!
Who doesn´t struggle with keeping their hair healthy in summer? Sure, we all love the sunshine, the beach and spending hours at the pool. But this does have consequences for our beloved locks. Dry, frizzy, lifeless… sounds familiar? I visited Salon B again to ask them everything about how to keep your hair healthy this summer. From DIY to the best products, keep reading!
FINALLY, it’s time for festival season again! Last weekend I already had my first crazy concerts at Pinkpop festival. It was awesome, but I also realized about all the inconveniences that festival campings bring along. That’s why I decided to share my mini survival guide of 5 useful things that helped me through the gross toilets, cold nights and long days.
