For those who don’t know Julliette den Ouden yet, let me introduce her: besides winning several make-up awards, coiffure awards (her current position is #6 of the world) and doing the make-up for brands/ names such as Versace, George Clooney, Wesley Snipes, Silvester Stalone, Harpers Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, she is also the one who creates make-up trends and campaigns for Makeup Studio. If that’s not enough yet, she does the worldwide campaings for Carmen, Varouk and L’Anza AND she creates her own trainingprograms for Schwarzkopf and several other make-up schools accross the country… besides owning her own make-up school. Of course. Is there ANYTHING this woman can’t do?! Time to ask her some questions!
Last week I wrote an article about what succesful people DON’T do. So you might wonder: what do they do instead? I’ve been working with many influencers and brands in the past couple of months since I started to work for Sanoma, and it became quite easy to pick out the ones that are pleasant to work with and the ones which aren’t. This is going to be a short blog, but I just had to get these thoughts out! I’ve been working in the media – and fashionworld for almost 10 years already and sometimes I’m still stunned by some people (no one in particular, just a general observation). Here’s one important reason why the really succesful people don’t get arrogant:
As the founder of the largest online fashion platform of the Netherlands, Ellen Snijder is a force to be reckoned with. This FashionChick is not only known for her beautiful curls and bubbly personality, but also for her creative strategic thinking and brilliant ideas. I was wondering: how does she do it?!
This lady has been an inspiration to me ever since I met her 2 years ago. Anbasja Blanken is the embodiment of a hard, passionate worker who won’t stop until she reaches her goals. Even though she hasn’t been in the Dutch fashion world for thát long, she already managed to make quite a name for herself and is currently one of the favorite designers at Amsterdam Fashion Week.

This is going to be my very first job as a non-freelancer, so I am super nervous. However, the team is SO nice and modern, and the work is exactly what I love to do, so I can’t wait to see how everything goes this week :) *inserting celebration pictures*
Lately I’ve had a lot to celebrate: I reached 50K on Instagram, had a lot of amazing trips, got a PA and landed my dreamjob! Things have been going great for me… so great that I’m having a hard time to keep up with writing articles for Who is that Blonde. Do you like writing but don’t feel like starting a blog of your own?
