Time for some nostalgia: oh how I miss Barcelona! I bumped into these pictures which I made some months ago with Angel Ruíz, and I figured it was time to actually share them with the world. El Raval is one of the many amazing locations in Barcelona, so I’m going to share some tips with you for your next visit :) Keep reading!
For those who follow me on my social channels already know it: June was a month of change for me! I said goodbye to my jetset lifestyle and moved to Amsterdam for a new challenge. A job! A lot more exciting things happened this month, and of course I blogged about it. These were the most popular ones:
Don’t we all love Instagram? Such beautiful images which spread inspiration! However, there are also too many insecurities because we start to believe that all those pictures are reality. Bloggers use apps, photoshop and filters to create the perfect pic, but more importantly: they make 1000’s of pictures till they get one they like. Time to share a portion of reality, don’t you think?
Oh how I miss the warm sunrises in Barcelona! This photoshoot was one of the last mornings I had in my favorite city and I love the pictures so much that I just had to share them! I’ve been planning my return to Barcelona for a while already, but I had to cancel for one important reason… I am moving to another city!
Oh Barcelona, can you be more wonderful? During my tour I vlogged for 1 week in Barcelona to give you an idea of what I’m up to on a daily basis. Catwalk Classes from Hernando Herrera, going behind the scenes of my photoshoots, birthday celebrations at Mamarosa Beach Restaraurant and more!
Lots of Love,
The other day I was walking around my beloved city Barcelona with Alex, looking for a nice place to have dinner. I felt like something healthy because I had nacho for lunch #ups, and I was determined to find one of those super cool veggie places that Barcelona has. We didn’t even walk down our street when we suddenly noticed this super stylish restaurant named Tia Santa. I saw vegetables growing from the walls, beautiful lamps and a very interesting looking menu for a reasonable price. YASSS. Goal accomplished.
Once inside, a very friendly waiter seated us and brought us the menus. He explained us that all of the veggies are grown in their own garden to make sure there are no chemicals in the products, and that they are specialized in anti-allergies and vegetarian food. Alex went for a Ceasar salad while I went for Asian noodles, and the food was there within 10 minutes… HOW?! The food was absolutely delicious and me and Alex returned 2 more times later that week because there were so many things I wanted to try from their fascinating menu.
I asked the waiter about this place, and he told me that Tia Santa opened up only 4 months ago and that it has been very successful. If they keep growing like this they want to open another location very soon! I don’t know about you guys, but I can see a new hotspot coming up.
P.s. Tia Santa opena at 7.30 in the morning for everyone that wants a tasty breakfast! I went for a chocolate muffin because I wasn’t very hungry, but it was deliciousssss.
I will start posting new discoveries more often from now on! Please note that I am truly giving my own opinion and I am not getting paid for this post. I just really get excited about good food and want to share that with you guys :)
Lots of Love,
1 Penthouse, 4 Models, 2 Photographers. Last week Generator Barcelona offered me their penthouse for a day to make some awesome pictures with friends, of course I couldn’t say no! I gathered around some awesome people and we had so much fun! Check out some of the results below :)
It always makes me so happy to hear… “I always love your photos! How do you do it?“. I can already tell you now: it takes more than a pretty face to get cool pictures: it’s all about a good concept and the right execution. Last week in Barcelona I organized an amazing fashion editorial, and I will take you guys through the process step by step! *Warning* This is quite a read because the organisation of this shoot was a rollercoaster.
Wait… is it the end of August already? What happened to summer? Am I the only one thinking this? I guess the saying ‘Time Flies when you are having Fun’ couldn’t be more true. Now that I think about it…. what did I actually do this summer? Thank god for Instagram! Let’s check out my latest posts to see what I have been up to this summer.
